Wood County LifePoint Program
The Vivent Health LifePoint Program is a harm reduction based, syringe access program. The goals of this program look to decrease the transmission of HIV, Hepatitis C and other potential
harms to individuals who inject drugs, and refer participants to important medical, social service, and public health programs, as well as provide direct referrals to treatment and supportive
programs. This program provides free sterile syringes and safer injection supplies as well as safe disposal of used syringes which reduces the risk to others in the community and sharing of
needles with others who inject drugs.
At the time of accessing materials, individuals are provided judgement-free education about overdose prevention and safer injection practices, and receive referrals to treatment and other
services. This free harm reduction program promotes the health and safety of individuals who inject drugs and the resources to make changes in their lives.
